A weak chin can be established from a person’s front, horizontal and vertical profile. The chin can appear to recede backwards, with little distance separating it from the lower lip and it seeming disproportionately smaller than the person’s nose.
Both men and women can hold what is deemed to be a weak chin and it can be easily identified with characteristics such as no clear neck or chin contour, a protruding lip and even wrinkles around the mouth area.
A weak chin can be something that someone is simply born with and has no initial control over or be because of a condition called micrognathia, where the bottom jaw is smaller in size than the upper jaw.
